ABOUT Michael Mann
Michael Mann, CPP®, PSP® has 30+ years’ experience in physical security, law enforcement, executive protection, and corporate security. Michael’s experience in executive protection began during his service with the United States Marine Corps Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team (FAST) protecting High Risk Personnel (HRP), foreign military leaders, and providing Counter Assault Team (CAT) capabilities during protective missions. Michael also provided executive protection for the mayor’s office while employed as a police officer with the Metro Nashville Police Department, and he served as an executive protection manager directing protection for Hollywood A listers, faith-based leaders, CEOs, and entertainment industry executives. Michael has been both a regional security manager and global physical security director, and he currently provides security consulting services.

Michael's Education
Michael has Master of Science (MS) Degree in Security Management; a Certificate in Terrorism Studies from the Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence, University of St. Andrews and he studied terrorism at Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv, Israel. Michael is an educator and serves as an adjunct instructor for a large university assigned to teach courses in criminal justice, homeland security and counterterrorism. Michael is also a graduate of several prestigious close protection schools and training programs including Executive Security International (ESI), RL Oatman and Associates, The Executive Protection Institute (EPI), and Toni Scotti’s Vehicle Dynamics Institute (VDI).

02. I’m a licensed armed guard in the State of Tennessee. Can you certify me with a Taser?
Michael Mann Security Services provides a wide array of security training services to include armed and unarmed guard training, and training and certification in the use of the baton, Oleoresin Capsicum (OC), Taser, handcuffing, and de-escalation.

03. I’m a pastor for small church and we would like to apply for DHS funding, can you assist us?
We cannot guarantee funding for your house of worship; however, we do provide professional security assessment services as required by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

04. We believe our CEO’s office may be bugged. Can you help us with this problem?
Absolutely! We provide limited Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) to include sweeps for listening devices and hidden cameras.

05. I’m worried about my wife and children’s safety when I’m traveling for work. Do you provide self- defense training for families?
Yes, we do provide a family and residential protection program. We travel to your home and provide your entire family with self- defense training and countermeasures, to include an abbreviated residential security assessment.

Michael Mann Security Services provides several executive protection training programs to meet the needs of individual protective agents, security teams, and protectors assigned to safeguard faith leaders.
